Aaron Denton practices primarily in the areas of insurance coverage advice and litigation. Aaron’s experience includes analysis of first and third-party construction defect claims, claims for cleanup of environmental contamination, and claims involving issues of insurer insolvency. Aaron has successfully represented insurers and the Oregon Insurance Guaranty Association in all phases of contribution lawsuits arising out of coverage disputes.

Aaron’s practice includes defense of product liability claims on behalf of manufacturers, defense of employment claims, and general civil litigation defense. Aaron’s product liability experience includes the defense of domestic and foreign automobile manufacturers in fire and asbestos cases. Aaron has advised local businesses in contract and lease negotiations, and has represented local businesses in the resolution of lease disputes and related litigation. Aaron’s litigation defense experience includes defense of motor vehicle, UM/UIM, and PIP claims.

Aaron has two sons, Henry and Oscar. When he’s not spending time with his sons, Aaron enjoys cooking, music, and running. Prior to commencing his legal career, Aaron received training as a chef in his home state of Kansas, and honed his culinary skills working professionally in New York City.

Representative Matters

OIGA v. Diamond State Insurance Company. Represented state guarantee association in contribution lawsuit arising out of construction defect claim, and obtained recovery of defense and indemnity costs from defendant insurer.

North Pacific Insurance Co. v. Gemini Insurance Company. Successfully represented insurer of general contractor through trial in contribution lawsuit against insurer of manufacturer of defective stucco.

Beaird v. American Honda Motor Co. Obtained dismissal of defendant auto manufacturer in lawsuit involving wrongful death and personal injury claims arising out of alleged spontaneous deployment of vehicle air bag.
